𝐃𝐢𝐥𝐢, 𝟑𝟎/𝟎𝟒/𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒: The Office of the Coordinating Minister for Social Affairs (MCAS), led by the general coordinator, Arcângelo Leite, together with the coordinators of the units, such as Arantes Isac for Education, Higher Education, Social and Inclusion, Júlio Maria de Jesus Canto for Veterans Affairs and Combatants, Danina Coelho for Health, Oldegar Masinga Soares for Youth and Sports, and MCAS technicians, held the first interministerial technical meeting for social issues with the appointed Focal Points, including the Focal Point – MCAE, Aureliano Ximenes, Focal Point – MdS , Narciso Fernandes, Ponto Focal – MCLN, Alcino Soares Gomes, and Ponto Focal – MESSC, Higino Alves.
The general coordinator of the MCAS Office, Arcângelo Leite, stated that these technical meetings will be held regularly each month to update information on the programs and ministerial priorities implemented by MCAS during the 2024 General State Budget period.
During the meeting held last Tuesday, in the MCAS meeting room, the Focal Points presented the Annual Action Plan with the progress made in the first quarter of the 2024 General State Budget.
After the presentations of the Focal Points, the General Coordinator asked the representatives of the ministries to monitor the priority activities of the respective ministries, including the progress made, so that MCAS can provide political support in resolving the challenges that require appropriate solutions
