DILI,23/02/2025: Government through Vice-Prime Minister, Coordinatinng Minister for Social Affairs, Minister of Rural Development and Community Housing (V-PM-MCAS-MDRHC), Eng. Mariano ASSANAMI Sabino, met with UNDP Representative to Timor-Leste, Katyna Argueta, at the Government Palace to continue discussions on social issues and rural development.
In an interview, the UNDP Representative in Timor-Leste said that today’s meeting between UNDP and the Vice Prime Minister is a regular meeting where he takes responsibility for social affairs and rural development, so UNDP as a UN agency wants to participate in bringing development to villages, districts and posts to give a better life to the rural population.
