Liquica, 22/03/2025: Minister of Rural Development and Community Housing (MDRHC), Eng. Mariano ASSANAMI Sabino, met with the Aquaculture Group in Tetsare Sub-Village, Ulmera Village , Bazartete Administrative Post, Likisa Municipality.
The group has done the same activity, building five large ponds, now they have bred banden fish and in the future they will breed lobster, crab, In addition to developing this place as a community tourism that will be completed with restaurants and give opportunities to visitors to fish.
During the visit, the MDRHC Minister said activities are now underway so it will be integrated into the rural development programme to provide money to give them loans to further develop their business.
This place has great potential, so in the future it can be turned into a training centre where anyone who wants to raise fish or crabs can come and learn.
In addition, the Ministry of MDRHC also intends to link experts in the field to support training on how to raise fish, lobster, crab well, in the future when they raise more will seek market because kadiuk is good price in the international market especially in China.
